The First Entirely Electric Sports Car
The Mission E concept study, the name currently used to describe Porsche’s complete electric offering, will be known as the Taycan. Two electric motors, one at the front and one at the back, will power the Taycan. The motors will produce 600 horsepower (440 kW), with acceleration of 0 to 100 km/h in less than 3.5 seconds and to 200 km/h in less than 12 seconds.
This four-door model is inspired by the Mission E concept, with some similarities to the Porsche 918 Spyder.
A Digital Interior
Calling on OLED technology, the Taycan offers innovations such as gesture control. For example, a responsive system identifies the instrument looked at by the driver, who can thus navigate through the menu by simply moving their eyes and validating their selection via a button on the steering wheel.
Key points: Porsche predicts an 80% charge in just 15 minutes, as the Taycan uses a new technology for a rapid recharge with 800 volt standard Combo CCS.

An Audi 100% Electric Supercar
During the most recent Pebble Beach Automotive Week in Monterey, California, Audi revealed its new concept car, the PB18 e-tron; "PB" for Pebble Beach, "18" in tribute to the R18 e-tron, four-time winner of 24 Hours of Le Mans. This super sporty 775HP electric vehicle presents a radical vision of the high-performance sports car of tomorrow.
The Audi PB18 e-tron design was inspired by the traditional architecture of a mid-engine sports car with a cab that is positioned far forward. The center of gravity for this car is located behind the seats and in front of the real axle, which benefits the driving dynamics.
Front and Back Exterior Design
A flat red band of lights extends across the entire width of the rear and accents the horizontal orientation of the vehicle body.
The familiar hexagonal shape of the Singleframe grille, wide and horizontal, dominates the front of the car. The Audi logo runs across the front of the hood, in its signature sports car style. Large vents to the right and left of the front grille take in necessary air to cool the brakes and front electric motor. Wide and flat light units with integrated digital matrix technology and laser high-beam headlights complete the face of the PB18 e-tron.
Three Electric Motors and Quattro Drive
This concept car uses three powerful electric motors— one up front and two in the rear. The latter are centrally located between the steering knuckles, each directly driving one wheel via half-shafts. They deliver power output of up to 150 kW to the front axle and 350 kW to the rear—making the Audi PB18 e-tron a true quattro, of course.
Maximum output is 500 kW, with boosting, so the driver can temporarily mobilize up to 570 kW. The combined torque of up to 830 Newton meters (612.2 lb-ft) allows acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h (62.1 mph) in scarcely more than 2 seconds. The driver can limit the speed to maximize range between charges.
The liquid-cooled solid-state battery has an energy capacity of 95 kWh. A full charge provides for a range of over 500 kilometers (310.7 miles) in the WLTP cycle. The Audi PB18 e-tron is already designed for charging with a voltage of 800 volts. This means the battery can be fully recharged in about 15 minutes. The Audi can also be charged wirelessly via Audi Wireless Charging (AWC).

A Captivating Expression Of Time
One thing is for certain: once you have plunged into the depths of Medusa, it’s hard to look away. For its tenth collaboration with L’Epée 1839, Switzerland’s leading clockmaker, MB&F, the top designer of timepieces in the world, takes a dive into the warm ocean waters where intriguing and ancient jellyfish abound.
Medusa is double configuration clock, housed in a hand-blown dome of Murano glass. It can be ceiling mounted or placed on a desk. Medusa’s central section of hand-blown Murano glass calls to mind the bell-shaped body of a jellyfish. Two rotating rings—one for the hours and the other for minutes—are visible through the glass dome, and the time can be read from a single indicator that extends over the rings. A movement beating at 2.5 Hz (18’000 A/h) located below the time indicator, is like the pulsating heart of this mechanical creature.
Medusa can sit on a desk, or another other flat surface, thanks to a specific support with curved legs. This is designed to hold the base of the movement and allow easy access to the mechanism for winding and setting the time.
When the clock is suspended from the ceiling, Medusa changes its supporting legs for hand-blown Murano glass tentacles. Attached to the mechanism, the tentacles move softly with the slightest motion of the clock—recalling the movement of a jellyfish in the ocean currents.
