A Complete Redefinition Of Watch-Making Aesthetics
To pay tribute to Louis Moinet, artist, watchmaker, humanist, and the renowned inventor of the chronograph in 1816, Moinet Ateliers added a new element to its heritage: Memoris. The chronograph is no longer an additional function of the watch, but has become its aesthetic and technical focal point.
This revolutionary timepiece can be admired in its entirety as soon as the pusher is pressed. The clutch column wheel orchestrates the graceful ballet of the mechanism, transmitting information to the hands. The chronograph reigns alone on the dial.
Key points: Memoris was a prizewinner at the international Good Design Awards, one of the most highly renowned competitions. Its design goes beyond its utilitarian vocation, adding a touch of soul, the stuff that dreams are made of and a coherent aesthetic vision of what beauty should be.
