Mercedes-Benz has successfully transitioned to 100% electric vehicle. The Mercedes EQC, the first model in the EQ all-electric series, is a compact crossover with all-wheel drive.
The Mercedes EQC, the precursor of a revolutionary “electro” style, offers an exceptional degree of comfort, quality, and autonomy. The vehicle is striving for a 450 km autonomous range based on the NEDC (New European Driving Cycle) with an average consumption of 22.2 kWh. With its two electric motors, the Mercedes EQC is expected to reach a maximum speed of 180 km/h and acceleration of 0 to 100 km/h in 5.1 seconds.
The battery packs are between the axels on the Mercedes EQC, which can be recharged in two ways: with its own charger in a wall plug at home or at a charging station (10 to 12 hours for a complete charge) or with the Combo, for an ultra rapid charge (40 minutes for a charge from 10% to 80%).
Trailblazing Exterior Design
This car has a long, sporty silhouette. Adorned with a wide black panel, the front of the car has a stylish design, where the two LED headlights are integrated into the same design element with the radiator grille.
There is also a singular lighting element on the back of the car to continue the modern look.
An Interior With Intelligence And Emotion
This crossover SUV has an avant-garde look on the interior. The large, high-tech dashboard combines a digital screen and touch screen in the same design element.
Key points: With its 80 kWh lithium ion battery, the Mercedes EQC hopes for an autonomous range of 450 km based on the NEDC, with average consumption of 22.2 kWh.
Plus: To optimize its range of autonomy, the EQC has included several features that limit energy consumption, such as a heat pump and a pre-air-conditioning unit that allows the driver to regulate the desired temperature remotely via a mobile app or the main touch screen.
