Founded in 2018 by local fisherman Johnny Laplace, Fish Corner expresses the maritime character of St. Barts through fresh, precise, and generous cuisine. From Fishing to the Restaurant Business

Long before becoming a restaurateur, Johnny Laplace understood the sea, its rhythms, and its seasons. Born in Gustavia, he grew up around fishermen and learned to recognize the different species found in the waters surrounding St. Barts.

This experience taught him that an excellent seafood dish begins long before the fish reaches the kitchen. Quality depends on responsible fishing, respect for seasonality, careful selection, and proper handling of each catch.

When Johnny founded Fish Corner in 2018, he transformed this knowledge into a distinctive restaurant concept. His goal was to create cuisine that celebrates the freshness of the local catch without overwhelming the product’s natural flavor.
