A Nod To The Past
In 1957, Swiss watchmaker Omega introduced the very first Railmaster model. This antimagnetic watch, both practical and elegant, was conceived for railroad employees and people working near magnetic fields. Its innovative industrial spirit has been reincarnated in a new contemporary collection.
Key points: The new Railmaster evokes all of the elegance and sobriety of the original in a more modern style, which features the best mechanical movement that Omega offers today.
Plus: This re-edition is 15 times more resistant than the original, thanks to the Master Chronometer 8806 caliber. Responding to the most demanding criteria of the watch-making industry, as determined by the Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology (METAS), this watch can handle magnetic fields up to 15,000 gauss.
Characteristics: Railmaster Omega Co-Axial Master Chronometer with 40mm stainless steel case, blue dial with curved sapphire crystal and double-face anti-reflection
Price: 4,240 €
