An adventurer, passionate about precious stones and pearls, Fred Samuel spent his life traveling around the world in order to make women more beautiful.

From his childhood in Argentina, Fred Samuel recalled memories of the quality of the light, the omnipresence of the sea, and the relaxed energy of South America, all of which are reflected in his work.

Immersed in the whirlwind of life in Paris in the 1930s, he fueled his creativity with the work of famous artists and for the rest of his life shared his passion for jewelry with some of the most iconic celebrities of the 20th century.

In the 50s, Fred Samuel discovered the exceptional beauty of precious stones and colored diamonds, and become the first jeweler for the princes of the Middle East.

His great interest in sports and sailing echoes in his designs, as can be seen in the pieces of the Force 10 collection.

In 1995, FRED embarked on the second chapter of its history by joining the luxury goods group, LVMH.

Today, FRED perpetuates its founder’s unconditional love for precious stones, pearls, and light as united in collections sparkling with sunshine.
